1. Essential Huayhuash, 8 days
This beautiful trekking is for anyone who loves to hike but has limited time to travel. Though relative short, “Essential Huayhuash” is long enough to be mentally ‘in another world’ for a few days and experience the Andes in its most pure way. We have one overnight in Huaraz (3.100 m), the capital of the region, and as we drive to the village Chiquian (3.600 m) you can appreciate the impressive peaks of the Cordillera Blanca. The trekking is balanced with one day of rest at the marvellous Jahuacocha Lake where we will do a day trip to a nearby glacier.

2. Huayhuash Cajatambo - Lake Tour, 12 days

We come along five different lakes and camp at one of them, Carhuacocha Lake, at 4.138 m. This route leads us through ancient Inca trails and rewards us with a thermal spring on day seven of the trekking. Here we can take a bath and relax for a while. This trekking ends at the village Cajatambo were you could decide whether to go to Lima, Huaraz or Chiquian.
